Bacon Wrapped Turkey Thigh


For 2 Servings


  • 2 turkey thighs
  • 2 tablespoons sage
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 8-10 slices uncooked bacon
  • Salt and pepper

Bacon Wrapped Turkey Thigh Directions

    Preheat oven to 350° Place turkey thighs into casserole dish big enough for the two of them. Take each thigh and season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sage each. Mix the butter and brown sugar together and rub onto thighs mixing with the sage, salt and pepper. Wrap each thigh with sliced bacon until completely covered and place into casserole dish. Depending on size of thighs, can take 4-5 slices of bacon for each thigh. Place in refrigerator for 4 to 8 hours or overnight. Remove from refrigerator and let sit for 30 minutes. Then bake covered for 30-45 minutes. If your thighs need more cooking time please do so. Enjoy!
